At every stage of my life, be it a HR professional or an entrepreneur or a teacher, I have realized that one must always have a mentors to advise them. A mentor is a person who helps and supports us, maximizes our professional potential, develops our skills, improves our performance, and helps us become the person we want to be. With my industry experience, people management skills, interpersonal and communication skills I believe in myself and want to be that that mentor myself as mentoring is a critical element in preparing higher education leaders of the future.
With my empathy and understanding, I aim to positively impact the lives of those I interact with. Keeping my students and parents first, I want to go that extra mile to make them comfortable and ensure they can approach me for anything and everything.
An Alumni of WeSchool (Welingkar Institute of Management Studies), I hold a Masters Degree in Human Resources, a Bachelor of Commerce from MMK College, Mumbai and I am a Green Belt Certified Global Career Counsellor from the University of California Los Angeles Extension ( UCLA Extension) & Univariety.
One might think what would bring a financial expert to counselling? But I can assure you, the next few lines will unfold the mystery. Everyone has a story to tell, and this is mine.
After school I had bunch of options in career and I choose commerce! I had no guidance for science(to become a medical student) and was pushed to choose commerce. I was definitely a rote learner, until I met a teacher, a mentor who taught me the concept of Self-study. All of a sudden, learning seemed so easy! This helped me develop an interest in being that coach myself and along with my Studies, I started Private Coaching! I thoroughly enjoyed the student interaction.
Logical extension after studies, was to gain and industry experience and I worked with companies like Grofers, Care24 and Loginext Solutions. But, my hunger to help students was persistent and I decided to pursue it. Hence, I decided to coach CA and commerce aspirants and guide them through their journey.
The zeal to guide students and the youth towards a better future has motivated me to become a Career Counsellor. I have high inclination towards students, in educating them, motivating them, understanding their creative and emotional intelligence and interpersonal skills.
